FAQs and Logistics
1) Check-in
Please have all players show up for check-in an hour before your first games. Check-in table will be located in front of Field 2 under the large "potato chip" structure. This will give us time to check everyone in and organize your team before playing. Note: all captains should register their players online (see captains' emails) BEFORE the tournament, to make day-of check-in faster and simpler. Below is a reminder for schedules:
Competitive -- Group Stage (9:00-11:40 am), Final (11:40-12:00 pm)
Law -- Group Stage (9:00-11:40 am), Semifinals (11:40-12 pm), Final (12:00-12:20 pm)
Casual -- Group Stage (12:00 pm-2:30 pm), Semifinals (2:30-2:50 pm), Final (2:55-3:15 pm)
Intermediate -- Group Stage (2:30-5:00 pm), Semifinals (5:00-5:30 pm), Final (5:25-5:45 pm)
2) Food, Drinks, and Atlas Beer Tent
Food and Drink -- There will be FREE snacks for participants at the concourse, as well as water throughout the venue (cups will be provided, but please bring a water bottle). There will also be food trucks where players can PURCHASE food.
Atlas Beer Tent -- All players will be given one FREE beer ticket. Extra beer tickets can be PURCHASED
3) Attire
Each team will be given 15 free jerseys of the same color, with tournament logo on the front and company name/logo on the back. Please wear athletic bottoms (shorts/pants), shin guards (required), and appropriate athletics shoes (metallic cleats are not allowed on the fields).
Team shirt colors will be communicated the week prior to the tournament. If you plan on having more than 15 players, please have extra t-shirts that are close in color.
4) Transportation
The Fields at RFK Campus is located at 401 Oklahoma Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002 and is accessible via Metro, bike, car, and ride-share.
Metro -- A 15-minute walk from the Stadium – Armory metro stop on the blue/orange line. Head north on 19th St SE toward A St SE. Turn right onto C St NE. Turn left onto 21st St NE. Slight right onto Oklahoma Ave NE. Turn right to enter the fields at RFK. Get detailed directions and more information on WMATA.com or by calling (202) 637-7000.
Rideshare -- Take ride share and use Fields at RFK as the destination. Drivers should drop you off near Lot 6.
Car -- No matter where you’re coming from, the fields at RFK Campus are just off I-295. Get detailed directions on Google Maps.
Parking -- The Fields complex has 200-dedicated parking spots available. Please try to park in Lot 7, but if parking fills up, use Lot 6—a map will be sent in the pre-tournament logistics email to all registrants.
5) Spectators
We welcome spectators at the tournament, and we invite them to enjoy the various activations, the Atlas Beer Tent (for those over 21 only, IDs will be checked), and food trucks. However, spectators are not permitted on the turf and will need to watch from the bleachers or outside of the fence.
